Off the Charts!

The book says that Win is not supposed to be able to do this until he is 3 months old. He has a very strong neck!

Burp

When we burp Win his eyes pop open and he makes some pretty interesting faces, as seen above.

A Bad Habit

Here’s Win after his bath this morning. He has definitely decided he likes baths, but has developed the bad habit of peeing almost without fail as soon as we put him in a towel to dry him off. Other than that we can’t really complain. He’s still sleeping pretty great and cooing when he sneezes, and doing other baby-like things. Grandma Jan and two friends stopped by on Thursday for a few minutes to cuddle with the chump, and we think Win made a pretty good impression on all.

Traveling

Yesterday Win ran a couple of errands. He put on his special traveling suit, complete with ears, and went to the grocery store. He kind of liked traveling around in the cart. It is a little like his running stroller but not quite as bumpy. Bumps are a good thing.

Now We Can Dunk Him

Yesterday Win’s umbilical cord fell off. Now he can take real baths and not those dreaded sponge baths that do little but make him cold. He likes being in the water.

Grandma Dean

Grandma Dean spent the week in Holland cooking, cleaning and calming a fussy baby. She and Win had a great time together. He loved rocking in the rocking chair with Grandma, as shown here. This last week he developed a special method of melting peoples hearts when he sneezes. He perfected his technique on Grandma. After a good sneeze, he takes a deep breath as if he is going to wind up for another. Instead of sneezing he lets out a heart melting coo. It gets us every time.
