Large Mouth Baby

Lately, Win has discovered a new way of smiling. He opens his mouth as wide as he can when he is very happy.

Hunting

When Win isn’t napping or eating he is hunting. He spends most of his time craning his neck around in search of an unsuspecting piece of lint on the carpet as his prey. Then he furrows his brow and launches an attack. Using his personally developed method of crawling he swiftly overtakes the lint. When caught the lint usually surrenders to his unyielding grip and endures a brief lick. Once it has been captured and briefly tasted Win is ready for another hunt.

His most difficult targets are the little spots of light that shine on the carpet. He has a very hard time picking them up and when he bends his head down to lick them they disappear.

Little Boy, Big Truck

Win and I spent the morning watching some men from the city repair sections of our sidewalk. It was very interesting. They even let us leave a little hand print in front of our house. Win loved watching the men and the big truck work and make noise.

Labor Day Weekend

Jared, Win and I spent Labor Day weekend at Grandpa and Grandma Henderson’s house. In the first picture you can see Win’s first camera lesson with Grandpa Goose. Later he played and snuggled with Grandma after dinner. He especially loved swinging in the swing on their playhouse.
