Sitting

Win has learned to sit and play in the last week or so. He always had the ability to sit (we think), but never had the patience to sit in one spot for more than two seconds. Now, he regularly sits and fiddles with toys for a few minutes at a time.

Christmas Decorations

This year Grandpa Goose (Jared’s dad, Bruce) found a couple of extra pieces in his outdoor nativity set.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Win’s Great Grandma Hetzler fed him Thanksgiving Dinner.

A Peaceful Place

Jared, Win and I spent an extended weekend at my parent’s lake cabin. We love it there; it is so beautiful and peaceful. Jared and I honeymooned there seven years ago. We love that place and try to visit often. This was our first trip with Win, at least our first trip that Win could see. It has been a busy summer and we regretted not getting down there more. We had a great time. We kept a fire going in the fireplace. We napped and read and played with Win. The cabin might be my favorite place in the world.

A Sad Loss

Jared, Win and I are spending an extended weekend at my parent’s lake cabin. We are having a great time doing very little. We drove into Fort Wayne so that we could watch the U of M/OSU game. It was a little strange to be in Fort Wayne for the day while my parents are out of town.

Win looked everywhere for Grandma and Grandpa. He looked……out the window,…in the bedroom,…under the teddy bear,…on the video shelf…and even on the swing. But he couldn’t find them. As soon as he figured out how to use the remote……he joined Daddy and watched the game.

Laughing with Melissa

Here’s another cute little video of Win laughing. He has such a great personality. He decided tonight that Melissa pounding a volleyball was hilarious. He pretty much crawls around grunting and giggling and climbing anything in sight.
