Mr. Brown

Win has several of those little baby board books. His favorite one is called “Mr. Brown Can Moo. Can You?”. Whenever we start reciting it Win crawls over to his pile of toys and rummages through them until he comes out with his Mr. Brown book. Even though there are 4 books in his toy pile, he always picks the right book.

Fall Chores

Win spent yesterday afternoon working outside. It was a beautiful afternoon, perfect for autumn yardwork. Winfield got a lot done. He repeatedly crawled under the truck, climbed the cement steps to our door and he tasted as many of the leaves as he could. All in all it was a very productive day.

Thanks for the shirt Kiah.

Civic Responsibility

This evening, Rachel and Win and I went voting. Win thought it was great - lots of people to smile at. All the people in the line also appreciated having a super cute baby to look at. While voting we let Win crawl around a little bit, much to the delight of everyone there. At one point, things did get out of hand for a minute when he knocked over my voting privacy stand, but overall everything went smoothly. The nice old man at the end of the line even gave him an “I voted” sticker too. Happy election day.

Sometimes, when things are really important to you, you have to take risks.

View from the neighbor’s

This is the view our neighbors get alot. Win loves to look out the window more than just about anything. He is fascinated by people, swaying trees, and especially cars. Sometimes he works up a river of drool flowing down the window while he stands and stares.

Cruising

It takes him a little while, but when he gets there he does a little dance.
