Harriet the Conductor and Win the Engineer

Harriet’s been enjoying the train set too.  As Win drives the trains around the tracks for hours every day, Harriet does repairs on the rails.  She skooches through the room grabbing train tracks as she goes.  She just chews on them and skooches some more.  She usually travels backward, much to her dismay.  Thankfully there are usually toys behind for her to discover as she moves around the room.

Whoohoo!

I’m not one to grip about winter.  But when I saw my crocus popping up in the back yard I had to grab my camera.

Workout

Harriet’s been working out lately.  Win taught her how to do pushups.

Easter Morning

Here we are on Easter Morning.  We attended Bedside Baptist.  Services were lead by Pastor Sheets.  After our crazy week we decided to make Sunday, even Easter Sunday, a day of rest for our family.

Win likes to look at our books and find letters in them.  Here he is hunting down an “E.”  Harriet is helping.

My boys like their bracelets

This saga doesn’t seem to be ending! Yesterday Win’s vomiting had gotten worse (this is day 10 of his stomach sickness). I called the pediatrician again and they told me that he needed to me seen immediately. They, however, didn’t have any appointments open. I was instructed to take him to the ER. Round 3! Nothing like the waiting room of an ER to boost an immune system.

Win is fine. They poked and prodded him, took his temp, checked for drool and felt his kidneys. He just has the same stomach sickness that Jared, I and the rest of West Michigan seems to have.

Last night our friend Josh brought over his own personal boyhood train set. Win’s been lovin’ it. He was having a hard time falling asleep for his nap. I went in to check on him and he said, “play train?” He couldn’t sleep he was too excited to play with it again.

so much

I often tell Winfield, “I love you, I love you so much.”

Lately Win’s been into learning songs. We’ve taught him Jesus loves me. He always end the song with, “the Bible tells me so…much”
