I get by with a little help from my kids

Win came up with a little game this morning.  He looks all over the house for “yuckies” and sweeps them into the dust pan.  I don’t mind this game.

Ants Yog

Whenever Harriet eats “ants yog” (ants on a log) she sucks the peanut butter off, chews the raisins and stores the celery in her mouth while putting another bite in.  Her mouth got a little full the other day and she needed some extra room for celery storage.

Why Win likes to cook

The other week Win and I made a cake.  He really likes to cook.  Can you tell why?
I really like the one of him inspecting his face after he licked the bowl.  We made him eat some green beans before he could eat cake.

one piece at a time

Today at lunch Win said, “I can eat that whole watermelon if I eat one piece at a time.”  Anyone who’s seen Win eat fruit knows that he might just do it.
