…Harriet is upstairs reading a new joke book.  She just yelled down to me, "Mom,  MOM!  This book says, 'What time is it when an elephant sits on your fence?  TIME TO GET A NEW FENCE!!!'"  Then she proceeded to laugh and laugh and laugh, like it was the funniest thing that she'd ever heard.  "Ha, ha, ha…ha, ha, ha, ha!!"  she went. There is something so fresh about being a kid.  Jokes like that are discovered for the first time…and they are funny. It's a good thing that she doesn't know how to send email forwards.
