Christmas Lists
December 10, 2010 | by Rachel
I asked Win what he wanted for christmas. Without missing a beat he said, "goggles." A little later in the day I asked him if he wanted anything else. He said that he wanted a construction site with dirt and workers, some Star Wars guys so that he could fight with them and a doll house that isn't decorated so that he could decorate it. He also wanted some chairs and a piano that he could move around inside the doll house. But then he added, "I really, really, really, really, really, really want goggles." Then I asked Harriet and she very quickly responded, "A snake." I asked her what she meant, thinking possibly a stuffed snake or a rubber snake. She said, " That snake that I like that is at our zoo." She's referring to a 20 foot boa constrictor that dazzled her this summer. Wanting to prevent disappointment I told her that that snake was not for sale and I asked her if there was anything else that she'd like. She replied, "What animals at our zoo are for sale?" I have a feeling that whatever she gets for Christmas isn't going to quite live up to her imagination.

i adore your kiddos... maybe you should take her through the aquarium part of the zoo and show her a gold or orange fish. =)
