Henderson Chocolate Death Cake Recipe

CAKE

2 cups sugar

2 cups flour

1 package instant pudding (chocolate or vanilla)

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup water

½ cup salad oil

1 stick butter 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder 2 eggs 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup milk Mix sugar, flour and salt in a large bowl.  Bring water, salad oil, butter and cocoa powder to a boil in a medium saucepan.  Mix the cocoa mixture in with the dry ingredients.  Add the eggs soda vanilla and milk.  Bake at 350° in a greased 9”x13” pan or 2 round cake pans for 25-35 minutes or until done.

FROSTING

½ cup peanut butter (crunchy or creamy) 2 Tablespoon butter 1 cup chocolate chips 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup milk 2 Tablespoons light corn syrup powdered sugar In a medium saucepan heat peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips until all are melted and mixed.  Heat on low heat as this mixture is easy to burn.  Remove from heat.  Add vanilla, milk and corn syrup.  Mix powdered sugar with electric mixer until desired consistency.  Frost.
