No Sugar Cookies

September 27, 2011   |   by Rachel

I have a new favorite recipe!  Big time. 3 very ripe bananas-black peels are best 2 cups old-fashioned oats 1/3 unsweetened shredded coconut (you can get this at Meijer in the "healthy" section of the baking isle) 1/4 cup shopped dates or 7-8 whole pitted dates, chopped 3 Tablespoons melted butter (I've been using this stuff.) 1 teaspoon cinnamon (just got some yummlishious cinnamon from that cute spice shop on 8th street.) 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup chopped pecans Stir together by hand with wooden spoon until generally mixed.  Drop on greased cookie sheet.  They dont really rise or spread so you can cram the whole batch on one cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 for 16 minutes. These are so delicious without the sugar high and low of regular desserts. Cheers!

Christine, I put a grid into my bio area and then made my bio area remain open always. Check out grids here. http://www.prophotoblogs.com/support/grids-overview/ R
