So we've done it!  We've decided to do something that I never thought I'd do.  We're homeschooling, Winfield at least.  I've always had great awe at homeshool parents and wondered how they did it all!  Win had a great experience at Holland East last year.  His teacher, Mrs, Fuentes, should get and award every single day.  She has all of the enthusiasm of a first year teacher but all of the experience and nuance of the 17 years that she's been teaching.  However, looking forward we could see that Holland East probably wasn't going to be a good fit.  Winfield has a unique learning style and a traditional school model isn't likely the right spot for him.  He really wanted to homeshool, so we're giving it a go. So far it's been a good start.  If you see nervousness in his expression just be glad that he didn't photograph me!  Talk about nervous.  This momma was kinda freaking out and trying not to let him know.  We're 3 weeks into is (thus the lack of blogging lately) and we're off to a good start.  We have a good groove that will probably change 100 times this year.  But it's a start. BTW, that stack of books is Jared's.  We were rearranging our book shelves to accommodate the homeschool material :-)  It oddly looks like I'm going to make him read non-traditional eschatological texts and Watchman Nee. Homeschool is particularly easy now that I've taught Dale how to keep Win on task :-)
